Pilot: Flesh-Eating Roller Derby Queens
Stage Play: A.I. Did Not Write This Play
Logline: Seattle is under quarantine during the zombie apocalypse, and it falls to The Seattle Slaughter (the local roller derby team) to distribute military supplies to the human survivors in this comic-book style drama. Flesh-Eating Roller Derby Queens is currently seeking representation.
In my current play in progress, A.I. Did Not Write This Play, I am exploring the impact of A.I. on creatives as well as the power of internet rumors. When Gen Houston, an internet famous poet, is accused of using A.I. to write her poetry, Kash- her number one fan and the moderator of her Reddit page - takes it upon themself to defend her reputation. But Kash's partner is also a poet, and Kash's defense of Gen just might come at the expense of their relationship, especially if the rumors are true. A.I. Did Not Write This Play is currently seeking development opportunities.
Children's Lit: Ivan, Joe, And The Magical Unicycle
A collaboration between myself and elementary educator Kathleen Elizabeth Kreisel, these children's stories teach animal science and social norms through the stories of Ivan the turtle and Joe the polar bear: a pair of unlikely friends who travel the world on a magical unicycle, meeting lots of other animals along the way! Ivan, Joe, and The Magical Unicycle is currently seeking representation.
